Wolfgang supports The Healthonauts as a patron zebra in the areas of rare disease awareness, education, and the targeted visibility of rare conditions.
As a Grevy’s zebra, Wolfgang belongs to one of the rarest zebra species in the world and symbolically represents the theme of rarity and the unique challenges in the field of rare diseases.
Born in 2019, he is part of the international “Rare Community” and will accompany The Healthonauts for one year as Senior Interim Executive Rare Disease Awareness.
His focus is on supporting awareness communications around rare diseases and strengthening their visibility. In addition, Wolfgang represents The Healthonauts’ commitment to protecting rare species and promoting greater awareness of rare diseases.
