Lomako
Lomako supports The Healthonauts as a patron zebra in the areas of rare disease awareness, education, and the targeted visibility of rare conditions.
As a Grevy’s zebra, Lomako belongs to one of the rarest zebra species in the world and symbolically represents the theme of rarity and the unique challenges in the field of rare diseases.
Born at the Berlin Zoo, he is part of the international “Rare Community” and will accompany The Healthonauts for one year as Head of Rare Disease Awareness.
His focus is on supporting awareness communication for rare diseases and strengthening their visibility. In addition, Lomako represents The Healthonauts’ commitment to the protection of rare species and the promotion of attention for rare diseases.
